Integrated Wireless Support (WAN & LAN) Integrated Wireless Support (WAN & LAN)
The Toughbook 28 combines an integrated wireless modem (WAN) and a retractable antenna that supports all current nationwide wireless networks including 1xRTT/CDMA, GSM/GPRS, CDPD and Mobitex (Cingular Wireless). In addition, the Toughbook 28 also supports 802.11b wireless LAN. You will enjoy secure, real-time access to information wherever you are.
Integrated GPS System Integrated GPS System
The Toughbook 28's optional integrated GPS system allows users to locate and document maintenance splices, optimize dispatch, get driving directions and more, without the additional cables and connectors required of other systems.
Integrated Network Testing Integrated Network Testing
Optional integrated test modules consist of testing software and all required test leads. The VIP Sidekick POTS testing option includes digital readouts for AC and DC Volts, Stress, Leakage, Resistance, Open Meter, Load Coil Detection, Power Influence, Noise, Circuit Balance and Loop Current. The VIP Sidekick module also includes an advanced Autotest with Pass/Fail limits and save and print features for uploading and documenting test results, trace and loss tones, resistance calculator, CID tests and modern testing.

For pinpointing fault locations we offer Dual-trace TDR and RFL modules. All modules come with online manuals and context-sensitive help. Also available are an ADSL module and a cable transfer 505 Throwmaster module.
