Real-Time Wireless Communications

No need to pick up job orders at the operations office or return paper forms at night. Transmit new work assignments to field technicians as soon as they are received. Instantly dispatch the closest or best-equipped teams. Update service records and manage parts inventory in real-time. Field personnel can also process payments, provide customers with a printed copy of their work order and close out jobs on the spot. Toughbooks support all nationwide wireless networks including CDPD, DataTAC (MotientSM Network) and Mobitex (Cingular Interactive), and will support new technologies such as GSM/GPRS and 1xRTT/CDMA.
