Panasonic offers a full line of mobile PCs that deliver superior reliability and durability to our federal government customers. These Toughbooks are available on many Federal Government contracts such as GSA, SEWP, AF ROC BPA, and Army ITES (plus many others).

Putting
the Tough in Toughbooks
Panasonic seals every port, hinge, keyboard and connector
for unmatched durability. Toughbooks endure stringent MIL-STD-810F
testing procedures that measure for dust, water, vibration,
extreme temperature and moisture resistance, as well as drop
shock absorption. This makes them the PC solution that's tough
enough to handle diverse applications like battlefield intelligence
and reconnaissance maneuvers, flight line maintenance digitized
programs, medical communications for casualty care, and field
inspections and surveys. Toughbooks can take it-day in and
day out.
- Sealed LCD provided extra protection against moisture
and dust
- Internal dampers and seals isolate the LCD from shock,
vibration and moisture
- HDD mounted in damping polymers insulates against sudden
blows
- Flexible connectors between the hard drive and system
board protect against the transfer of shock from drops

- Sealed Keyboard and touchpad prevent damage from dust

- Environmental seals protect the multimedia pocket, PC
card slots and connection terminals from moisture and
dust

Outdoor-Readable
Touchscreen LCD
The Toughbook 18 features an outdoor-readable color LCD that
provides a crisp view even in the brightest sunlight. You'll
be able to download and access digitized tech orders and checklists
without the worry of glare or a washed out screen. Plus, the
touchscreen model lets you navigate through software applications
simply by touching the LCD.

Integrated
GPS
With the Toughbook 18, you'll have access to an optional integrated
Global Positioning System so you can map out flight routes
for mission planning and identify coordinates for search and
rescue options.
